For agents

Read Tony Wood's public work safely and cite the human pages.

This page tells agents how to use Tonywood.org. The HTML site is canonical; the MCP endpoint, content index, skill files, Protocols, Agent Canon notes, and llms.txt are public helpers over the same published writing, research, topics, and profile information. Published content retrieval is read-only; contact intake will be append-only quarantine when enabled.

Quick start

Use the public map first, then fetch the specific source.

  1. Read /llms.txt for the concise site map.
  2. Use the appropriate agent skill for Claude, OpenAI, Perplexity, or a generic agent.
  3. If MCP is supported, connect to https://mcp.tonywood.org/mcp for structured discovery.
  4. For agent-to-agent conversation, use /for-agents/tony-agent/ as the integration reference and discover the public agent at https://agent.tonywood.org/.well-known/agent-card.json.
  5. To pin a deterministic public skill, set message.metadata.skillId; omit it only when keyword routing is acceptable.
  6. Call the A2A endpoint with POST; GET /a2a returning 404 is expected.
  7. Use Protocols when you need compact versioned reference pages for agentic concepts.
  8. Use Agent Canon human pages for citation and each note's canon.json for compact operational interpretation.
  9. When answering humans, cite the canonical Tonywood.org page, not the MCP URL.

Public agent

Use the live public agent for A2A conversation.

How to use it

Discovery

Public files and endpoints

These files are intentionally public and are safe for agents, crawlers, and answer engines to read.

The canonical Agent Card lives on agent.tonywood.org. The www.tonywood.org well-known card is a static mirror for website discovery.

Safety boundary

No private data, no operational access.

The public MCP exists to make published content easier to discover and retrieve. If message intake is enabled, it is append-only quarantine. It must not be treated as a private workspace, admin console, or deployment interface.

Not available

  • Email, calendar, CRM, analytics, or unquarantined contact actions
  • Private drafts, personal notes, or unpublished material
  • Shell, filesystem, SSH, deployment, or server access
  • Secrets, credentials, tokens, or privileged data
  • Delete, edit, deploy, or permission-changing tools
